Planning a TripGetting There Trains run from London's Waterloo Station each hour during the day. The trip takes 2 1/2 hours. One National Express coach a day departs from London's Victoria Coach Station heading for Dorchester. The trip takes 3 3/4 hours. If driving from London, take the M3 southwest, but near the end take the A30 toward Salisbury to connect with the A354 for the final approach to Dorchester. Visitor Information The Tourist Information Centre is at Unit 11, Antelope Walk (tel. 01305/267992; www.visit-dorchester.co.uk). It's open from April to October Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm (also May-Sept Sun 10am-3pm), and November to March Monday to Saturday 9am to 4pm.
