Frommer's Review
In business for more than 3 centuries, the Kings Arms offers great bow windows above the porch and a swinging sign hanging over the road, a legacy of its days as a coaching inn. It's still the best place to stay within Dorchester's center, though superior lodgings are on the outskirts. An archway leads to the courtyard and parking area at the back of the hotel. All rooms are nonsmoking and comfortably furnished; most are small to medium in size and have been modernized while retaining a traditional English aura. The shower-only bathrooms are tiled and rather cramped.
