Hidden in a side alley close to the aquarium and the seaward city walls, Azur opened in June 2013 (it has a sister restaurant in Zhuhai, China). The outside seating is especially pleasant, framed by old stone walls. The cuisine is Mediterranean, with an Asian twist. Start with wasabi salmon parcels, followed by either squid ink seafood noodles, or pan-seared swordfish in black curry sauce. All the seafood and vegetables are locally sourced, combining with Eastern spices to produce sublime and beautifully balanced flavors.
