Getting There -- The central train station is Estación Parque, Avenida del Ferrocarril. Trains arrive almost hourly from Alicante. Call tel. 90-224-02-02 (www.renfe.es) for schedules.
The bus station (tel. 96-661-50-50) is at Avenida de la Libertat. Buses travel between Alicante and Elche on the hour.
Take the N-340 highway from Alicante and proceed southwest if you're driving.
Visitor Information -- The tourist information office is at Parque Municipal, s/n, 3203 Elche, Alicante (tel. 96-665-81-78; www.elche.es). It's open Monday to Saturday 10am to 7pm, Sunday 10am to 2pm.
