Planning a trip to Elche

Local train service arrives at Estación Parque, Avenida del Ferrocarril. Service between Elche and Murcia or Alicante runs four times daily, and three trains per day run between Elche and Madrid (trip time 3.5 hr.; fares 12€–32€).

The bus station (tel. 96-661-50-50) at Avenida de la Libertat has hourly service to and from Alicante. If driving, take the N-340 highway from Alicante and proceed southwest.

The tourist information office at Plaza Parque (tel 96-665-81-96) is open Monday to Saturday 9am‒6pm, Sunday 10am‒2pm.
