Frommer's Review
This budget hotel, opened in 2003, is a real bargain and popular with young, international travelers. Rooms have brightly colored floors and are tiled, simply furnished, and spotlessly clean. All rooms come with a private bathroom, though the bathrooms for room nos. 9 and 10 are out in the hall, which is somewhat compensated for by having a balcony. The rooftop terrace is a quiet spot for reading or writing, while the busy ground-floor cafe is a good place to meet fellow travelers and enjoy the simple breakfast menu (25dh-35dh/$3.15-$4.40/£1.55-£2.20). Because the hotel is located on the edge of the medina in a busy residential area, the front-facing rooms can be a bit noisy late at night. Taxi access and parking is right outside the front door, while the Kairouine Mosque and place Seffarine are only 10 to 15 minutes away. It can get full, so try to book ahead or arrive early.
