Right on the beach, the Ingleses Praia Hotel offers a large outdoor pool and playground, making it perfect for kids. Deluxe rooms feature at least a partial ocean view, while the super-deluxe rooms and suites offer a full ocean view. The super-deluxe units are the best value: for little extra (R$12-R$24/US$5-US$10) you get a flat with full kitchen and small den that can accommodate four people comfortably. For luxury, book an oceanfront suite. These offer room for eight, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms as well as a sitting room and kitchen. The hotel is within walking distance of restaurants and shops in Praia dos Ingleses. Check the website for packages in the low season: a 3-night stay can cost R$85/US$35 per night.
