Dimitri's is hard to find, and easy to keep walking past once you've found it. But the generic, chain-restaurant interior with its hide-the-crumbs paisley carpeting belies better-than-average cooking that will appeal especially to budget-conscious diners. You'll get a big plate of food here for not a lot of money. The Greek specialties include moussaka (with and without meat), souvlakia, and dolmades, and all are quite good. (Avoid the mystery-meat donairs.) Deluxe dinner plates are served with delicious potatoes -- hearty wedges that are cooked crispy on the outside and remain hot and soft on the inside. The meats are sometimes on the tough side, but most diners will find this a good value.
