Fredericton's premier bed-and-breakfast is located a short stroll from the riverfront pathway in a quiet residential neighborhood. A former mayor built this imposing three-story Victorian manse in 1875. Inside, it's a bit somber in that heavy Victorian way, with dark wood trim and deep colors, and feels solid enough to resist glaciers. Rooms are eclectically furnished and comfortable without being opulent. High-speed wireless Internet is available throughout the inn. Delicious and elaborate breakfasts are served in a sunny room in the rear of the house.

Dinner is available at the inn with 48-hour advance notice; ask about the menu when you book. A complete dinner runs around C$25 (US$20) per person.
