Fuengirola and Los Boliches Travel Guide

32km (20 miles) W of Málaga, 104km (64 miles) E of Algeciras, 574km (356 miles) S of Madrid

The former fishing towns of Fuengirola and Los Boliches lie halfway between the more famous resorts of Marbella and Torremolinos. Less-developed Los Boliches is just .8km  from Fuengirola.

These towns don’t have the panache of Marbella or the range of facilities of Torremolinos, but apart from a few luxury hotels, Fuengirola and Los Boliches are cheaper and attract large numbers of budget-conscious northern European tourists. The best beaches—Santa Amalja, Carvajal, and Las Gaviotas—are broad, clean, and sandy.
