This luxurious resort with excellent recreational facilities is in a golf-course setting 5km (3 miles) from Fuengirola and 10km (6 miles) from the beach. The grounds contain a white minaret, Moorish arches, tile-adorned walls, and an orange-tree patio inspired by the Alhambra grounds. The large rooms and suites are elegantly and individually designed and furnished in Roman, Arabic, Andalusian, and rustic styles. Private sun terraces and lavish bathrooms with tub/shower combos add to the comfort. For many visitors, especially from Europe, the major attraction is the Thalassotherapy Centre, considered the most advanced in Europe. Nearby are two international class golf courses designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr.
