Owners and hosts Gunter and Hedwig Buhmann like things to be cozy -- their chaletlike guesthouse is almost a cliché of Bavarian charm. Rooms open onto a view of the lake or mountains, and many have their own balconies. They're furnished in a neat, functional style and kept immaculately clean. There aren't a lot of frills, but the place offers one of the best values in the area.
