In the centro storico (historic center) near the old port (on an alley across from the aquarium), this lively white-walled and wood-paneled room lives up to its name—dialect for Old Genoa—with expertly prepared Genovese dishes. Because the restaurant is very popular with Genovese and increasingly with the foreign crowd, you may well be asked to share one of the crowded tables with other diners. Pasta with pesto is excellent; follow it with a fine selection of fresh seafood.
