This hotel (which most locals will call by its original name One Devonshire Gardens) has been the most glamorous the city has to offer for more than a decade. It's the place where the great and good traditionally stay, whether George Clooney or Michael Jackson. Of the units, no. 29, the so-called "luxury town house," is the most impressive: There's a sitting room (with its own toilet), a separate dressing chamber, a master bedroom with a four-poster bed, and a full bathroom with separate shower. The hotel has an excellent restaurant and, for all its luxury, is family-friendly as well.
