Still shiny since its November 2002 opening, the Radisson has set down architectural markers for any other hotels to open in Glasgow. Its dramatic and curving facade is just a stone's throw from Central Station, on the fringe of a portion of the city center that is still being redeveloped. Contemporary units with blonde wood details and Scandinavian cool have all the modern conveniences. The 1394-sq.-m (15,000 sq. ft.) club and fitness facility includes a 15m (49-ft.) pool and state-of-the art gym. Collage and TaPaell'ya offer two distinct dining options.
