Frommer's Review
Housed in a part of the former Tron Church, which dates back to the 15th century, the Tron Theatre is one of Scotland's leading venues for new and sometimes experimental dramatic performances. The stage is often the place where contemporary local companies, such as Cryptic or Vanishing Point, debut works that go on to tour in the UK and even internationally. In addition to theater, the hall is used for music and dance. The Tron also has a modern bar/cafe as well as a beautifully restored Victorian bar/restaurant serving lunch and dinner, including vegetarian dishes, as well as a fine selection of beer and wine.
