Hotel Opera ReviewIn high-priced Sweden, this hotel is known for its moderate tariffs. Even though its prices would buy you luxurious accommodations in many parts of the world, what you get here is comfort. From the outside, you'll look at this boxy, white-fronted building and swear that it's a single structure. But it includes two distinctly different divisions, one with three stories, the other with four, which resulted from the interconnection of two once-separate hotels back in 1994. Rooms come in categories of "recently renovated" (that is, slightly larger, brightly accessorized units) and "not so recently renovated" (usually with decors dating back to the mid-1990s, with spaces that are a bit more cramped). Please be sure to confirm all rates and details directly with the companies in question before planning your trip. Related Features Deals & News

Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
