Frommer's Review
Guidebooks tend to ignore this 13-story hotel, a 10-minute walk west of the center of town, but we consider it a discovery. Even though it is little publicized, it is one of the better choices in the so-called "moderate" category in pricey Sweden. It is spacious with a sense of drama, as evoked by its sky-lit and plant-filled lobby. Each of the midsize-to-large bedrooms was renovated in 2005 and furnished in a comfortable, tasteful style, with soft lighting. The wooden floors were cleaned and carpeted, and double-glazing was put on the windows. The finest accommodations, and certainly those with a view, are found on the 13th floor. Bathrooms tend to be small and come with either tub/shower or just a shower. The hotel also boasts a balcony-level restaurant serving good and reasonably priced food made with market-fresh ingredients.
Facilities:
Restaurant; bar; Jacuzzi; sauna; limited room service; laundry service; dry cleaning; nonsmoking rooms; rooms for those w/limited mobility
