Frommer's Review
In the heart of the medieval core, close to the cathedral, this converted palace has been turned into a hip little hotel with individually designed bedrooms. The former Palais Inzaghi, constructed in 1775 in the rococo style, was converted into an inn with modern amenities, yet with the basic architecture left intact. Each room has its own fragrance, its own music, and even its own unique door sign. Furnishings are both contemporary designer objects and antiques or old artifacts. Breakfast is a buffet served in the winter garden, or else you can patronize Restaurant MOD, with its sophisticated elegance, specializing in such dishes as wild garlic cappuccino or shrimp-stuffed sole. Perhaps you'll end your repast with a rhubarb tart with sour cream ice.
