About a mile along the quay in the direction of Fort Charles, The Bulman draws a sweater-and-Wellington-boot contingent of fishermen and yachtsmen. There's also a smattering of artists, students, and expats, all of whom come for the pints and the lovely location. Twilight is great here -- you can take your drink outside, listen to the waves lap up against the wharf, and watch the gulls turn a shimmery orange as the sun sets.
