In the mood for a pared-down, modern-chic atmosphere with wonderful views and natural light streaming in? Minimalist Sirocco, which offers largely Mediterranean seafood with an Asian twist (plus roasts, filets, poultry, and one or two vegetarian options), reflects its chi-chi Thesen Harbour Town location. There's a good deal of glass, all the better to maximize the lagoon setting, and colorful cocktails to sip while you're watching the sun set. Sirocco is best known for its prawns (you can try three varieties of ginger and spring onion rice), but they also produce a mean bouillabaisse, and a tender free-range petit poussin marinated in coriander, garlic, and lemon. The small lunch menu, served in addition to the main menu from noon to 4pm, offers lighter, less-exciting fare.
