Frommer's Review
This fine 17th-century guildhall is now home to Leiden's municipal museum. Its collection of paintings by Dutch artists of the 16th and 17th centuries includes works by Lucas van Leyden, Rembrandt, Steen, and Dou. Temporary modern art exhibitions are organized regularly. The cloth merchants' guild (the original occupants of the building) is represented in historical exhibits; the guild's splendid meeting hall is on the first floor.
