Frommer's Review
Beautifully laid out by landscape gardener Cecilio Rodríguez at the beginning of the 20th century, this peaceful and relaxing park slopes from the northwestern edge of Argüelles down toward the River Manzanares and Casa del Campo. Meandering paths follow a well-marked "nature route" past birch, cedar, cypress, and pine trees and every May a rose festival is held in the 17,000-sq.-m (182,986-sq.-ft.) Rosaleda close to the teleférico and the terrace cafe-lined Pintor Rosales Promenade. Main entrance is at Moncloa where Paseo de Moret meets the Avenida Arco de la Victoria.
