Frommer's Review
Opened over a dozen years ago in the northwest corner of the city, this is one of the longest-running vegetarian restaurants in Madrid, with a dedicated and faithful band of regulars, so best to book a table before coming in. The eclectic range of dishes is based on fresh market ingredients. The vegetarian croquetas (croquettes) are superb, and, for dessert, you must try tartas integrals (whole-meal tarts). Smoking, surprisingly for a vegetarian restaurant, is not frowned on, so be warned. They also have a small shop selling local products.
