Hotel Casón del Tormes ReviewA well run four-story hotel with a smart red-brick facade and stone-trimmed windows, the Casón del Tormes stands on a quiet one-way street 1 block from Plaza de España. Rooms are generally spacious and comfortable, with color-coordinated fabrics and dark wood, including mahogany headboards. Bathrooms are very small, with tub/shower combinations. A long, narrow lobby with a marble floor opens into a separate room. There's a public parking lot near the hotel should you feel the urge to drive in this particularly busy part of town.
