This stylish Best Western affiliate hotel occupies five floors of a grand turn-of-the-19th-century building right on the Gran Vía. Rooms are neat, with tasteful downbeat furnishings, and insulated against noise. All are equipped with safes and Wi-Fi. The pristine en suite bathrooms with tub/shower combinations are agreeably spacious. A highlight is the top floor lounge bar with its small outside rooftop terrace area, serving drinks and snacks and providing tantalizing vistas of the distant mountains from between the buildings.
