Hotel Santander ReviewFirst opened in the 1920s, the cozy and character-filled Santander is a legendary hotel that offers extremely reasonable value for your money. It lies just up the street from the Hotel Inglés and enjoys the same fascinating on-the-spot array of polyglot bars and eating spots and the wealth of other lively hedonistic amenities in Plaza Santa Ana and Plaza del Angel. The high-ceilinged air-conditioned rooms are clean and comfortable, and some larger rooms enjoy the added bonus of a separate tiny alcove with a chair to relax in.
