These smart well-appointed self-catering units, which range from small 25-sq.-m (269-sq.-ft.) studios to more spacious 50-sq.-m (539-sq.-ft.) apartments, are situated in the heart of Madrid between Chamberí and the Gran Vía, just a few steps from the Tribunal metro. Like the Prisma below, these units are not only fully equipped for do-it-yourself living, with one or two bedrooms, basic kitchenette, and en suite bathroom, but also enjoy hotel-style facilities such as maid service and a 24-hour reception desk. Unlike the Prisma, however, there's no restaurant on the premises, but whenever you don't feel like doing your own cooking, plenty of nearby cafes fit the bill. Ask for an exterior apartment, for views across the street of the Municipal museum with its baroque facade.
