A member of the Best Western chain, this very friendly family-run hotel is ideally positioned on a pedestrian-only street just off the Puerta del Sol, close to all central amenities. The second-floor restaurant and lounge areas are bright and attractive, and the comfortable accommodations obligingly cater to a variety of party sizes, offering connecting rooms, top-floor rooms with sun terraces, and group or family units. All have en suite bathrooms and some are reserved for nonsmokers. Lower-floor rooms tend to be noisy; try to get one higher up.
