Serving as a bastion of civility in a sea of rock-and-roll and disco chaos, this club was converted from an 1800s grocer. Over the past 2 decades, it has been presenting chamber music concerts nightly at 11:30pm in cooperation with the Royal Music Conservatory with an additional show at 1am on weekends. The club offers the prospect of a tranquil, cultural evening on the town, at a moderate price. They take performances here seriously -- late arrivals may not be seated for concerts. It's open Monday to Thursday and Sunday 7pm to 3am; Friday and Saturday 7pm to 4am.
