If not the oldest Irish pub in Madrid, this is at least in the oldest building, as well as being the best and most centrally located of the city's three Moores establishments. It's in a medieval house with an atmospheric basement "interrogation room" where the dark inquisition ambience of yesteryear has been replaced by pool tables and Celine Dion sounds. The main salon is relaxing and comfortable with dark wood-paneled walls and cozy alcoves. Guinness is the tipple par excellence, and Wednesdays are curry evenings. Open daily noon to 1am.
