Frommer's Review
If you can't find the wine you want here, you won't find it anywhere. Lavinia claims to be not only the largest wine shop in Madrid but also in the whole of Europe. It's big, alright: Its two floors of racked vinos run the full range from Tokai to Tío Pepe. Smart, bright, and ultramodern, it's light-years away from the traditional concept of musty-barrel-lined bodegas, and the switched-on, multilingual staff complements it perfectly. Open Monday to Saturday 10am to 9pm.
