Frommer's Review
The leading hotel in the town center, the Palacio opens onto a tree-lined esplanade near the cathedral and the harbor. Most balconies offer views of the port, and below you can see horses pulling century-old carriages. The midsize rooms are traditionally furnished and have firm beds and bathrooms with tub/shower combos. The street-floor lounges mix antiques with more modern furnishings. One Toronto couple writes that the breakfast buffet is excellent but you "can't get a hot cup of coffee here no matter how you try."
