The well-maintained Hotel los Naranjos is one of the more reasonably priced choices in the city. It's 1.6km (1 mile) from the heart of town on the eastern side of Málaga, past the Plaza de Toros (bullring), near the best beach in Málaga, the Baños del Carmen. The hotel offers midsize, contemporary rooms. Some bathrooms have only showers. Breakfast (which costs extra) is the only meal served.
