Right in the center of Málaga, just around the corner from the cathedral, this is a typical government-rated three-star hotel 100m (328 ft.) from Malagueta Beach. Traditional in style, it is half a century old, although it was last renovated in 2004. Most of the rooms are midsize, a mix of classical and modern decor, with lots of wooden furniture. The most desirable rooms are those in the more modern wing at the rear of the building. The hotel is family run and extends a welcoming atmosphere. Public rooms are paneled in wood, and there is a cozy fireplace lounge.
