Frommer's Review
Lying in the commercial and historic center, this 1999 hotel is not near a beach but convenient for sightseeing and shopping. Next to the Puente (bridge) de la Esperanza, it is a functional and well-managed choice with soundproof windows cutting down on the traffic noise. Its bedrooms, furnished with wooden floors and mainly dark furnishings, are a bit small. The adjoining bathrooms with tub/shower combos are also small. There is a wide variation in the price of rooms. Only four are in the expensive category, and they are virtually junior suites, the best in the house. Otherwise, accommodations here are quite affordable. For such a standard chain format, there are surprising extras such as a choice of pillows (firm, soft, duvet), and deluxe toiletries.
