Dark-red walls and colorful still life paintings provide aesthetic oomph to this intimate Italian cafe in East Memphis. Grilled steaks, seafood entrees, meaty pasta dishes, and fresh green salads make this a pleasant after-work dinner-date spot. Its out-of-the-way location (off the main Poplar Avenue thoroughfare) gives it a quainter appeal than it might otherwise have. Enjoy another glass of wine, but skip the desserts, which are uninspired.
