Elvis Presley's Heartbreak Hotel-Graceland

If your visit to Memphis is a pilgrimage to Graceland, there should be no question as to where to stay. This Graceland-operated hotel has a gate right into the Graceland parking lot, with Elvis's home right across Elvis Presley Boulevard. In the lobby, you'll find two big portraits of The King and decor that would fit right in at the mansion. In the back courtyard, there's a smallish, heart-shaped outdoor pool. Indoors, four themed suites include the irresistibly named "Burning Love Suite." (Feel your temperature rising?) If you don't want to shell out big bucks for the entire suite, ask to split it and just rent a portion (or one room) of the suite. Many guests do this, I'm told. If this place has one drawback, it's that there's no in-room Internet access, although it's available in the lobby.
