Frommer's Review
A good value for tourists who want a clean, comfortable suite at a reasonable price in a great location, this property is just a block from the Mississippi River. Step out the back door and hop on the trolley to reach Beale Street and other attractions. A cheerful, wireless lobby and adjacent breakfast room provide guests with a welcome greeting. Suites are spacious, tastefully decorated, and include well-lighted work spaces with multi-line speaker phones, kitchenettes, and soft couches. Rooms with south-facing windows have nice views of Court Square, a leafy park that dates back to before the turn of the last century. On the ground floor in front of the hotel, the small outdoor pool is gated and landscaped, though not very private.
In rooms: A/C, cable/satellite TV w/pay movies, dataport w/high-speed Internet access and Wi-Fi, fridge, coffeemaker, hair dryer, iron, safe deposit boxes available at front desk
Facilities:
Outdoor pool; business center; valet; self-service laundry

| Frommer's Nashville & Memphis, 8th Edition | |
| 0 stars | Frommer's Recommended | |
| 1 stars | Frommer's Highly Recommended | |
| 2 stars | Frommer's Very Highly Recommended | |
| 3 stars | Frommer's Exceptional |
Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
