Memphis's only rooftop swimming pool is the best boast of this otherwise basic hotel that has a prime location on Front Street overlooking the Mississippi River. Despite updated exterior work and new signage, the hotel's rooms are a bit more outdated than others in its price range. Quite often, you'll see busloads of school and tour groups staying at the hotel. So if you're after a more intimate setting, you might want to look elsewhere first. Rooms are bigger than expected, though, making it a good value for the money.
