Frommer's Review
This is the best hotel right in Santa Elena and an excellent value to boot. The rooms are spread out in a variety of separate buildings, including several individual cabins. All have wood or tile floors and plenty of wood accents. My favorite is the "honeymoon cabin," which has a Jacuzzi tub and its own private balcony with a forest view and good bird-watching, although rooms 16 and 17 are good choices, also with their own small private balconies. There's a two-bedroom, one-bathroom house for families. Budget travelers can inquire about the two rooms equipped with bunk beds ($20-$25/£10-£13 per person). The management here is helpful, speaks five languages, and can arrange a wide variety of tours. Although they don't serve lunch or dinner, breakfast is offered in the new and spacious dining and lounge building, and refreshments are available throughout the day and evening.
