This walk-up "snack," run by a Chinese family, is located on the shore of Cook's Bay. For about 500CFP (US$5), you can get a casse-croûte sandwich, a soft drink, and a slice of delicious homemade cake. Forget the plate lunches, usually a Chinese dish with rice, which are prepared earlier in the day and served without refrigeration. A few tables under a roof beside the beach catch the breezes off the bay.
