You'll pay a price to have dinner here, but Eric Lussiez's restaurant and bar is Moorea's most unusual: It occupies the original Tamarii Moorea, the first ferry to ply the waters between Papeete and Moorea. Eric completely rebuilt the old vessel and outfitted the dining room with polished wood, large windows, and plenty of bright brass and other nautical decor. The menu changes with the availability of local seafood, such as shark and emperor fish, expertly prepared with traditional French sauces. Tour groups stop here for lunch, when prices run about half of those at dinner.
