If you like sweet wines, watch for the Wasson Brothers wine tasting room, 17020 Ruben Lane at U.S. 26 (tel. 503/668-3124; www.wassonbrotherswinery.com), as you drive through Sandy. This winery produces a wide range of fruit wines, and also does quite a few dry varietals. The tasting room is open daily from 9am to 5pm. Also, if you or anyone in your car has a sweet tooth, keep an eye out for the Oregon Candy Farm, 48620 SE U.S. 26, Sandy (tel. 503/668-5066), which is 5 1/2 miles east of Sandy and has a huge assortment of homemade candies. The Candy Farm is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5pm.
