Attractions

The Central Complex

The town's sights are concentrated in the medieval Vieille Ville (Old City), a massive central labyrinth of religious and civic buildings. A combination ticket (5.20€ adults, 3.70€ students and children 17 and under) admits you to all of the attractions listed below. If you don't visit the palace, you can pay for those attractions separately.

Most visitors buy a pass-billet, or billet global, valid for 3 days allowing entrance to four of the town's museums (including the Musée Lapidaire), plus the donjon, and the trésor of the cathedral. Tickets are 7.50€ for adults and 5.50€ for children 5 and up. Entrance to any of the four museums is free for children 4 and under.

The neo-Gothic Hôtel de Ville (town hall) in the complex was reconstructed by Viollet-le-Duc, the 19th-century architect who refurbished Notre-Dame in Paris between 1845 and 1850.
