A watchtower and prison in the late 13th century, it has a lofty observation platform with a view of the cathedral, the surrounding plain, and the Pyrenees. If you happen to visit between mid-June and mid-September, you might want to participate in one of the occasional hikes up the steep steps of the watchtower.
