Home Sweet Home

This is a cozy, down-home place that almost re-creates Negril's hippie heyday. You might find your groove here just as writer Terry McMillan did; she visited while doing research for her novel, How Stella Got Her Groove Back. "Home" is a concrete building with a garden with lots of greenery and flowering plants. When you see the bedrooms, you'll realize many visitors have slept here before you. All accommodations have ceiling fans, a radio, and a cassette player, plus a balcony or veranda, but no TV or phone (only suites have phones). Every unit is equipped with a small bathroom with shower. There's a sun deck on the cliffs, and you can swim, dive, or snorkel. A simple restaurant serves three inexpensive Jamaican meals a day.
