This is a true pocket of posh along Seven Mile Beach: a half-dozen upmarket vacation villas constructed on four lushly landscaped acres of land in the center of this long beach strip. Staying here is like having your own private tropical-inspired home with a full household staff to go with it. That attentive staff includes a personal chef, bartender, and housekeepers -- talk about personal luxury. Designed by a team of Chicago architects, the villas were decorated by a U.S. design firm with furnishings and accessories purchased from top galleries and showrooms in both the U.S. and Europe. Four-poster beds are draped with plantation-style mosquito netting. In addition, there are four swimming pools and 10 Jacuzzis on site, plus loads of non-motorized beach toys, including Hobie Cats, kayaks, and windsurfers.
