This is a solid, middle-bracket hotel with a central location in a commercial neighborhood in the heart of Nice. It was radically renovated in the mid-1990s and does not retain very many of its original architectural embellishments. Views from the windows look out over the street, and its efficient bedroom furnishings are standard for the well-respected Clarine chain. Rooms have comfortable mattresses, tiled bathrooms, and adequate shelf space. Overall, this is a reliable, although not particularly exciting, hotel choice.
