Few other hotels evoke the Belle Epoque as gracefully or as authentically as this stone-and-wrought-iron monument to early-20th-century architecture. The owners have upgraded the bedrooms, transforming the hotel into a well-orchestrated bastion of calm and comfort. Many of the rooms are upholstered in fabrics depicting olive trees or olive branches. The most expensive rooms are airy, spacious, and outfitted in tones inspired by the colors of Provence, especially peach and soft green. Less expensive rooms are altogether comfortable, albeit somewhat smaller. Although all units have soundproofing, the ones that are the quietest are those overlooking the hotel's back side, or its interior courtyard.
